Donald Trump Jr. took to Twitter to praise Kanye West's newly released ninth studio album Jesus Is King.
"Kanye West is cracking the culture code," he wrote. "@kanyewest’s new album #JesusIsKing is the epitome of fearless creativity and 'dangerous, unapproved' ideas. Leftists always try to silence those who are speaking truth. They’re waging a war on our family and culture. Kanye is a pioneer."
The 11-track Christian-themed album boasts features from Kenny G, Fred Hammond, Clipse, Ty Dolla Sign, Ant Clemons, and others. "Now that I’m in service to Christ, my job is to spread the gospel, to let people know what Jesus has done for me," Kanye previously said in an interview with Zane Lowe on Beats 1. "I’ve spread a lot of things. There was a time I was letting you know what high fashion had done for me, I was letting you know what the Hennessey had done for me, but now I’m letting you know what Jesus has done for me, and in that I’m no longer a slave, I’m a son now, a son of God. I’m free. The most space that I had to think is when I went to the hospital."
Shortly after dropping the album, Kanye told TMZ that he would be going on tour "right away" to promote the project. Kanye's last tour was back in 2016. According to projectionsfrom HitsDailyDouble, Jesus Is King is poised to debut at the No. 1 spot on the Billboard 200 by moving an estimated 225,000-275,000 units in its first week.
