Lady stabbed by traffic robbers in Lagos who collected all her belongings
A lady was reportedly attacked by traffic robbers at Apongbon bridge in Lagos, who stabbed her and took all her belongings.
Twitter user, @BorlahB said the incident occurred while the lady was on her way to work and in broad daylight.
I think it's time for @lagosstategov to do something about the issue of broad day and night robbery on the bridge inside traffic.this just happened to my friend and his colleague on their way to work this morning at apongbon bridge.the thief collected all thier bags and belongings
And still stabbed her with a knife.if @jidesanwoolu did not do something to stop this criminal act in Lagos immediately am afraid what our fate is going to be in next four years again..and I don't think we are even going to vote for him for second term.

Everything is not about government.lets learn to be our brothers keeper.how can robbers rub in daylight without any interventions from the masses even when most of them don't have gun.it has gone too bad that people prefer to make videos and take pictures rather than help a victim at robbery spot.we can throw stones at them,we can shout,we can use our cars to block the road denying their motor or bike access,we can mobilize to fight them and some many others.nigeria Government will not leave their dollar and come help us on the road, their kids are not there.

People rig election, buy delegates, pay touts to disrupt electoral process in places where they’re perceived to lose and are unable to rig. Then you somehow believe he’s come to work for you or your safety. Ask yourself, where has San Wo Lu been since Thiefnubu declared for presidency, he’s been by his side, laughing to the cameras at every turn like an overpaid PA. Instead of calling him, tag Thiefnubu instead, after all it’s his brainchild (Agbero) that’s producing these criminal elements. If you threaten him now with your vote, you stand a better chance having Oluomo get directives to order these thieves aka their boys to slow down on business as usual. That’s Thiefnubu legacy and that’s what he wants to replicate on a national scale

This is robbery, we can't stop robbery as long as there are still robbers amongst us. It happens to pedestrians also...the solution to this problem lies on motorists standing up for one another. those robbers can not over power everyone on that road where such is happening. It's unfortunate that Lagosians keep quiet while this things happen to others and this is the problem. You can't tell me that if everyone present raise alarm and go after these robbers when ever this happens it will not come to an end. Perhaps the government should sensitize motorists and pedestrians to stand up for themselves when such things occur.

Like this! 0Dislike this! 0ReplyThe Lagos state governor should, as a matter of urgency, speed up the repair work on Apongbon bridge. The miscreants rob and stab commuters on a daily basis ( morning/night) on that bridge. The governor should wake up and take charge instead of gallivanting with Tinubu as a glorified house boy.

The compromised Nigeria Police can no longer be replied upon to effectively provide the necessary protection for Lagos motorists. The Police are not permanently on the roads. They appear and disappear on the roads at will. This is not good enough.
